(That sounds so much more intimidating!)

Either way, I have planned to stick to a very strict Whole30 program for 5 months, where I will avoid eating all forms of processed/added sugars, grains, dairy, legumes, and pretty much anything from “the psychologically unhealthy, hormone-unbalancing, gut-disrupting, inflammatory food groups” as referred to on Whole9life.com.

The start date will be tomorrow, 12/2/13, and my goal end date is 05/02/14..

which is the most special day of all..

My 21st birthday!!!

The one and only present I would like on this very special day is a promisingly healed and nourished GUT. No beers, or drinks, or bars, or parties.. just a well-fed body that can heal its relationship with food and no longer be defeated by seriously deep-rooted sugar cravings.

I’ve been running on the toxic fumes of processed ‘food’ for 20 years, and right now couldn’t be a better time to start running on the nutrients of REAL food! This will be the best birthday present yet.
