The Second Kitchen! A little co-op on 9th and College that carries the best organic and local produce. I love shopping here because they have great prices on high quality produce and eggs, and it always feels so good to support a small, community-based business.

Today, I made an effort to get a really good variety of veggies, which I don’t do often! I always get so comfortable with a few particular meals, and end up eating them every single day. So my goal was to step out of the usual spinach and avocado buzz, and add some other greens to the mix. I also ventured out and bought a rutabaga.

I have a good friend that insists that I learn a new dish every week with a food that I’ve never cooked with before. I finally decided to listen to him, and that’s how I ended up with a rutabaga! Check out my DAY 4 post to see which rutabaga recipe I landed on.
